Pollmann is an international family business in the automotive industry and one of the largest industrial employers in the north of Austria.
Pollmann's core competencies lie in the intelligent combination of metal, plastic and electronics to create highly complex mechatronic components for the automotive industry. The company thus has 130 years of innovation experience.
Highest energy efficiency, maximum degree of automation, as well as a digital twin for the new production plant in Vitis, on which all plants and processes can be visualised and simulated in advance.
These are the ingredients for another 60 new jobs and a total investment of 17 million euros with which the company is shaping its future.
The construction of the new production facility was necessary because the expansion possibilities at the Karlstein headquarters had already been exhausted. Should the company's development continue to grow in such a way, expansions can be carried out on the 65,000m² site at any time without affecting productivity for even one day.
