The digital twin

17.02.23

A business relationship based on partnership has existed for some time between the young, dynamic and innovative start-up company qapture and G. Klampfer Elektroanlagen GmbH.

To give the joint path to new projects a sales focus, qapture CEO Daniel Höller invited the G. Klampfer sales team to a joint workshop at the LIT Open Innovation Center on the grounds of the Johannes Kepler University Linz on Friday, 17 February 2023.

After arrival and a lunch snack, a Q&A session immediately got underway. These related to almost all areas - technical, commercial or legal - that could be relevant for G. Klampfer's team in the project business.

The "Digital Twin" - i.e. the digital twin - creates an exact image of the object or the surroundings as part of the as-built documentation using laser scanning and camera technology and thus provides an overview of the infrastructure and enables a digital tour, which can be called up in the qapture Hub. Possible applications range from construction documentation and as-built surveys to the operator as permanent access to the infrastructure and its data.

CEO Daniel Höller and qapture project manager Karl (Charlie) Woisetschläger led through the discussions and answered question after question from the inquisitive 11-member G. Klampfer team, who could tell how much potential each individual can see in this new technology and performance for the future.

The next joint projects are already on the horizon and the workshop has set the course for new innovative projects.
