After a total of two years of construction, the time had finally come this summer: the IKEA at the Westbahnhof in Vienna, aka "Das hus", is finally finished. The G. Klampfer team is very proud to be part of this innovative and sustainable project.
It’s clear that this is the most innovative furniture store, because even the look of the house does not conform to the norm. The 160 trees and shrubs that green the façade and the roof terrace of the furniture store are properly staged by the indirect lighting installed by G. Klampfer are an absolute eye-catcher. The photovoltaic system on the roof of the building, with an output of 88 kWp, a weight of 13 tonnes and a size of 800 m2, is also an absolute highlight. To create a digital image of the building, the visit of robot dog Spot alias "Rudi" was not to be missed.
