With this article, we would like to highlight the outstanding achievements of our dedicated purple team members. Several of our colleagues have successfully completed the IPMA (International Project Management Association) Level C certification. A testament to their hard work, dedication and pursuit of excellence in project management.
The IPMA is an international organisation that sets standards for project management and offers certifications at various levels. The Level C certification, for which our employees have prepared, focuses on the practical application of project management knowledge and skills. This includes aspects such as risk management, stakeholder management, team leadership and project controlling.
Prior to the exam, candidates had to demonstrate extensive professional experience in project management, which typically includes senior positions or the management of complex projects. The exam itself included case studies and scenarios to ensure that candidates could apply their knowledge and skills in real project management contexts.
An important part of the success was the preparation course delivered by Mr Oberchristl from Orgatec. Over a period of several months, the participants underwent intensive training to sharpen their project management skills. The results of an internal survey show that the preparation for the exam required a considerable amount of time. The participants stated that in addition to the 136 hours of preparation course, they invested an average of a further 60 hours in drafting the report and preparing for the exam.
In September 2023, the candidates then underwent an oral examination and an interview in which their project management skills were put to the test. The entire exam lasted approximately 120 minutes and was a more than intensive review of their knowledge and skills.

The successful IPMA certification of our employees not only emphasises their individual achievements, but also the quality of project management in our company.
